VisitDiamondHead.org is your one-stop destination when it comes to booking a visit to the Diamond Head State Monument, on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Here you’ll find a range of tours and activities that you can book directly from our website.
Diamond Head Crater is one of the most famous landmarks in Hawaii and we highly recommend adding a visit to your itinerary. To help make things easy for you, The Diamond Head Visitors Bureau provides you with the best activities available so you can make the most out of your time here.
Diamond Head, one of the island’s most-photographed landscapes, is a remnant of a volcanic explosion that occurred some 300,000 years ago and is 3,500 feet in diameter, with a 760-foot summit. By booking one of our activities, you can hike to the top of a formation called Leahi—the “brow of the tuna”—by Hawaiians.
We offer three popular tours, all of which include the renowned Diamond Head Hike.
This easy/moderate hike takes you on a self-guided audio tour that encompasses the history, culture, geography, and flora and fauna of the Diamond Head State Monument.
And if you want to get more out of your day and experience a traditional feast, the Diamond Head + Waikiki Luau tour offers you the hiking experience, followed by an all-you-can-eat buffet with hula and fire knife dance show.
And for a historical addition, the Diamond Head + Pearl Harbor tour allows you to experience both the state park and hike up the crater in the morning; and then on to Pearl Harbor where you can pay your respects to those who lost their lives on that fateful day in December of 1941.
At the Diamond Head Visitors Bureau, our goal is to provide you with a Hawaiian experience that you’ll never forget. Include a hike in the Diamond Head State Monument in your Hawaii itinerary and you’ll get to explore an amazing piece of the island (and the world) that you never imagined existed.
