Waikiki and Diamond Head Segway Tour

There are plenty of bus tours available in Honolulu’s busiest beach area of Waikiki. They are fun for an initial orientation but visitors who want to get a closer look are better off taking it slow. A Segway tour offers the ideal transportation to gain a deeper understanding of this historically significant neighborhood. There’s a reason why Waikiki used to be a playground reserved only for the ruling monarchs and their families. Today, the turquoise waters, tall palm trees, world-class surf breaks, and fine sand make visitors’ dreams come true. On top of the natural sights Waikiki welcomes you with, there are many historical and cultural sights to be found within this relatively small area.

Pay your respects to the “father of modern surfing,” Duke Kahanamoku and get in touch with Hawaii’s original spirits under the giant banyan tree.

Cruise along the beautiful beach promenades of legendary Waikiki, passing luxury shopping areas as well as the unique International Market Place.

As we leave the bustling areas of Waikiki we catch more and more panoramic views of azure shores and tropical trees swaying in the breeze. We pass Queen’s Beach and Kaimana Beach, where locals like to gather, play, and picnic. The Honolulu Zoo and Aquarium are along the way – watch out for exotic animals peeking over the fence!

As we make our way up Diamond Head Road, we’re rewarded with dramatic landscapes and ocean views. Following the gentle slopes of the long-extinct volcanic crater, we enjoy more unforgettable sights. Below the crater we come to a beautiful park and beach, away from the Waikiki crowds. Shallow water leads to colorful reefs. Lucky guests with good timing may see humpback whales playing in the deeper waters of the Kaiwi Channel. On a clear day, we can look across the channel to spot the island of Molokai on the horizon.

Coming back toward Waikiki, we have a chance to catch some shade and play time in Kapiolani Park. Try something new next time you visit Hawaii, and allow our guides to share their knowledge with you as you cruise along the beautiful beaches of Waikiki.
